Shay Stephens was born and raised in Pratt, Kansas, where a love for the outdoors took root early. A Pratt High School graduate, Shay entered the workforce immediately after graduation, working in the oil and gas and pipeline industries. Over the years, he developed strong project management skills and qualities that have been instrumental in his success as a landman, negotiating easements and agreements in the energy sector.
Shay's transition into real estate was a natural progression, driven by his personal passions and years of hands-on experience. His deep understanding of land use, access, and value, paired with his extensive network, gives him a competitive edge that few can match.
Outside of work, Shay's world revolves around his family. He and his wife, Oakley, married in 2016 and are the proud parents of two boys, Cyrus and Baylor. When he's not with them, you'll likely find Shay outdoors. He and his boys share a deep passion for whitetail hunting, and he is especially dedicated to the development of whitetail hunting farms. Growing, managing, and pursuing mature whitetails is more than a hobby—it's a lifestyle that strengthens his connection to the land and sharpens his instincts as a real estate professional.
